Game idea testing with players

Overview

Overview

The Crowd Legends is a mobile game being developed by a gaming company in Dundee. This project was a research initiative to validate the underlying game idea.

I've conducted a survey to test the idea and found out that the majority of the respondents find it attractive.

I used Miro to create the game experience in a remote session and we ran the co-design workshop with 15 football fans (a group of people diverse in age and gender).

Process

Surveys

As a way to find participants for the workshop and to understand the overall interest in the game idea, I prepared a survey and published it in several football groups on Facebook as well as sent it to people I know.

There was also a final survey straight after the workshop to get feedback.

User interviews

To get insights and an in-depth understanding of the participants' feelings I conducted interviews after the workshop.
